Guest guest Posted May 5, 2008 Report Share Posted May 5, 2008 Hi All,I power walked the bridges at lunch and did some much needed for the spirit yoga. It was the Arms & Abs practice from Yoga Complete for Every Body from the intermediate section. It was 40 minutes long, but went by fast. I really enjoyed the upper body work, but I doubt I'll be too sore tomorrow. We'll see. You do pushup variants from a tabletop pose, dolphin pose with pushups, down dog, and updog variants as well. The abwork was so-so, but mostly I needed to hear the soothing voice of Gromley. The shavasana was very nice, your body melted like an ice cube in the sun, going from the feet to the head, including the tubes in your inner ears that go downward into the throat area. I feel better, but could have used some more. I'll do a more strenuous practice tomorrow, perhaps after a run. My friend Marina is coming over to yoga with me on Thursday and I'm really happy about this, and so is she. Hillary will come over Friday for yoga too. I guess this is my week for yoga, but I'm needing it big time. , please keep us posted on DH's liver situation.
