Jen,

Oh, I totally am impressed with anyone who can learn sign language. I tried once and failed miserably! I certainly can't imagine doing it in a summer short session. I'd fail for sure!

Hey all, sorry I've seemed to have disappeared off the face of the planet. I've been in school or studying it feels like constantly for the past 5 weeks. I've finished my A session classes (US History I and First Aid & CPR) with A's in both. Now I've got to finish my B session class (US History II) and my full term classes (Algebra and Psychology). Someone should have warned me that a full load in summer with short sessions is like 3 full loads any other time! LOL I literally had one week where I had 8 tests in 4 days. I really don't see how my brain is suppose to hold all of this information that I won't ever use again.

Anyway, since I'm on campus all day, I'm also working at their gym in the afternoons. Its cool cause I get to make all these college guys half my age feel weak because I lift heavier then they do. ;) I've been working out while I'm there, but not at home with my videos like I would like. I'm 3 weeks behind in my schedule which means I either have to spend some weekends doing nothing but working out to videos or I'm not going to make my goal of doing them all by the end of the year. Theres just too many and I keep adding to them! (I got Hip Hop Abs on Ebay a couple of weeks ago.) When I'm home, though, I have to study. Like right now, I have a chapter test to do for psychology, 3 homework assignments for Algebra, and a 100 term study guide to go over for my history test Monday. Literally, one day in summer session is like a week in regular session, so it is a ton of information to process.

Anyway, I have 3 more weeks of classes, then I'm going to Texas for a week to visit my Dad. I've already told him that I'm bringing exercise videos with me and to stay out of my way then. One of which is the drum workout to do on my Mom's drums. I may do that one all week instead of the stuff I had planned. LOL So, I'll hopefully be able to catch up on my email reading, but I may have to hit delete more then I want without replying. (so put my name in any subject line you think I need to see) In fact, I'd better go now and do some algebra or psychology so I don't have to do it all tomorrow.

Miss Ya'll!

A lot of people think that learning American Sign Language is easy WRONG! It's just as hard as learning any language. It requires a lot of practice and and big commitment to becoming involved with Deaf people, if not it's even harder to learn. Yea, I can't believe I learned ASL well enough to be a pretty decent interpreter.....I should be studying to take the written test for National certification in the Fall! Jen
