Guest guest
Have any of you used a cinnamon supplement in addition to BFL? I'm getting ready to start BFL again and I have been taking 1 cinnamon capsule twice a day (total 1,000 mg). I read that cinnamon could be taken to help with balancing your blood sugar and it seems to have helped. I have been weaning myself off the sugary foods over the last week or so and I hoped it would help with the sugar withdrawls. The really surprising benefit was that although I have been eating basically the same foods daily, I have lost over 2 inches off my waist. The only change has been the addition of cinnamon. I'd love to hear any comments, pro or con, on the cinnamon. Thanks,
Guest guest
I've never even heard of cinnamon supplements! I heard somewhere that if you crave chocolate all the time you might have a magnesium deficiency, so I started supplementing with a cal/mag combo. I'm new to BFL and the big problem I am having is getting of sweets. I can't seem to stay off chocolate more then 4 or 5 days. It's a bad cycle. Has anyone overcome this problem? Guest guest
Try adding sugar free, fat free chocolate Jell-o pudding mix (one tablespoon) to a 1/2 cup cottage cheese and ice. Blend.....takes my chocolate craving away fast!! Add a good carb source and it's a great little meal! > > I've never even heard of cinnamon supplements! Guest guest
If you are not already, you might try supplementing with L-Glutamine. It helps with sugar cravings as well as decreasing muscle soreness and a long list of other benefits. I get it at walmart for about 10.00 or so. Just add a teaspoon to a shake or even just a glass of water. It has no taste really. Deanna Re:Advice on Cinnamon Supplement I've never even heard of cinnamon supplements!
