Guest guest
My mother took methotrexate for rheumatoid arthritis. She also has CMT but I don't remember methotrexate doing much for her at all. Honestly, I don't think she *has* rheumatoid arthritis -- they never found the factor in the blood (whatever it's called). That doesn't definitively rule out rheumatoid arthritis though. I really think that it's her CMT and not rheumatoid arthritis at all. Have you looked up the max dosage for neurontin on the internet? Does the 3200 mg help him? If yes, it's probably okay (since his doc prescribed it) but if it's stopped helping the pain and that's why he keeps increasing it, perhaps he should try something different. Lyrica or Topamax has helped members on this list.
