Guest guest
Hi, This may be completely off-topic but - since I haven't got a clue what's causing Yvette's eczema - it may well be that there is a link with her autism gut/sensitivity/toxicity issues. Here goes: Yvette's had bad eczema now for about 3 months. I can't identify any new factor coming into her diet/regime when it started. She has very dry skin on her back and some red blotches (a couple of which became infected). Hydrocortisone and moisturiser (from the GP) have kept it under control, and a hydrocortisone with antibiotics is now clearing up the infection. But the underlying problem is not going away. Yvette is gf/cf. After another post a few weeks ago, I took her off some high-phenol fruits (grapes, apples, bananas) and that seemed to make her eczema slightly better. (It also got rid of her panda eyes, and improved her concentration). Having fewer baths also helps. But I'm sure there is something else causing a problem and I'd love to locate it. We've got a cat and probably more than our fair share of house dust. But Yvette never used to have a problem with any of that .... Any suggestions? Thanks.
