Carolyn - renos and housing prices

Hi Carolyn,

Good luck with the renovations - it is a pain having people in your house all

the time but it is worth it when it is done and looks good!

I think the housing prices in the U.S. have fallen as a sort of " correction "

they were way over-inflated, I think, and couldn't keep going up b/c literally a

2 bedroom condo would have been $800K if it went on like that around here! It

sort of sucks b/c we bought our house at the top of the market, but we also sold

our townhouse at the top of the market, so I guess it evens out somehow. We've

probably sunk about $60K into this place in 2 years - it was in pretty sad shape

but we liked the location and property....we still have more to do but at least

the list is getting smaller...
