As you all know and have probably experienced, I'm so sore it hurts

to breathe. My elbow is scrapped and my other arm is bruised from

the handle and arm ring of the crutch. It took all of my strength

to do with I did. I feel like I've been in a wreck or roller

coaster ride with the bar up !!! The only thing that's not sore are

my eyelids, I can blink without hurting. Anyway I'm so thankful I

didn't break an arm or hurt my feet or toes. I'll get over the

soreness by moving.

I did a web search for a lift. Thank you, , that information

was very helpful. I sent an email to a company that carries Lift

All Transport, I had no clue as to the cost. Thanks again for

supplying that information. I will check into the one you suggested

as well as mention it to my Neuros at my appointment 5/4/06.

I had a relative ask me if it was because of my weight or the C-M-T

that I was having so much trouble as of late. Well, I think it is a

combination of all, plus being 55 (soon, urrgh!). Yes, I'm not in

denial about my weight, I'm working on it. Yes, I'm carrying around

another person and a half probably, already on a weaken body. When

I was 150 lbs. I could get up like you said you do Gretchen, but now

no way.

Kay - You are so insightful and my thoughts and prayers are

with you. I would love to see Oregon and your antique

phonebooth/elevator. How neat is that !! Did you see Dr. Phil

Thursday show entitled Big Burden? Oh my, DeeDee weighed 700 lbs. I

really got with it seeing her. Struggling so, well, I'm just tired

of struggling and I'm really eating Lean Cuisine meals with salad

and an apple.

I believe my anti-depressant is taking effect, helping me get over

the self-pity and self-destruction moods and breakout of the Catch-

22 situation. I can't wait to weigh at my appt. Thurs., not to see

how much I've lost as I've just been eating healthier as of late,

but to see what I'm at so I'll have a year to make a difference,

when I go back.
