Guest guest
Hi, I got a really late start today b/c I was up last night baking for my DD's pre-school picnic/fundraiser/bake sale today. I really didn't want to workout and I especially didn't want to do cardio - cardio is the hardest thing for me to motivate myself to do when I'm tired. BUT, I did finally get out of bed and told myself I only had to put in 30 minutes - so I did Shape Transforming cardio workout lead by Dozois (w/ York and Wheeler as backgrounders) - this one is interval style (hills, not so much sprints) and includes basic athletic moves - even some burpees and explosive lunges. You get a good workout in 30 minutes! Well, after that I said to myself "why not tack on Wheeler's kickboxing segment from the potpouri workout on this dvd?" - I did and that was great! So I got in 40 minutes of cardio (plus my T-Tapp back stretch). Well, then I said, "you need to stretch" so I added on Wheeler's bonus yoga routine from the Shape Cardio DVD (18 minutes - a combo of stretching and strengthening yoga). So, I managed to get an hour in after all - all in increments that I talked myself into doing this morning. Actually, once I got about 5 minutes into my 1st workout I was feeling good and the rest wasn't much of a struggle. I am also lucky b/c I have the day off today so I did have the option to go longer - on a regular day, I may have had to stop at the 30 minute mark b/c of time. So - now I'm off to do some housework, get ready to go to the picnic and then grocery shop (at Costco - which is a workout in and of itself!) Take care, Donna
Guest guest
Great job, Donna. I love that you said well, just one more, and another one....until you had a terrific workout. Well done. -----Original Message-----From: exercisevideos [mailto:exercisevideos ]On Behalf Of Donna M-P Hi, I got a really late start today b/c I was up last night baking for my DD's pre-school picnic/fundraiser/bake sale today.
