Hi ,

I'm sure that Tonya, Darcy or can answer this

more comprehensively than me - but for an endurance

weight workout you would do more reps with a lighter

weight than a " strength " building workout where you

would do fewer reps with heavier weight. I believe,

and I'm sure that our above named personal trainers

can correct me, that endurance is 12-15 (or more)

reps, strength building 8-10 reps, and moderate (a

blend of both) is somewhere in between.

I also consider circuit workouts and workouts with

compound moves (doing a bicep curl with a lunge, for

example) as " endurance " style as you often will use

lighter weights and do more reps, plus, with circuit

workouts you'll have the cardiovascular effect going

from alternating weights with cardio. Compound

exercies also get my HR up (often times higher than

straight cardio workouts).

Hope that helps!
