Guest guest
I looked up the DAn doctors list on Treating Autism and found only 4 names? I think there are more than this..........where would I find a more comprehensive list? Sally
Guest guest
It’s Muscroft. Dr Fell is a helpful NHS doctor at the Chelsea and Westminster hosp. not a DAN!. There is a short list of parent-recommended DAN! practitioners on the home page of www.treatingautism.com There’s plenty you can do while you wait to see Jonathon Tommey. What stage are you at? Doctors in the UK? I have heard of Musgrove (Cheshire), and Myhill (Powys) , and Dr Fell (London?). But I wondered if there is a database somewhere. I am signing up with Jon Tommey but he is really busy and we have to wait a further month to see him. Still new to this! Brehm
Guest guest
Most of the DAN! practitioners in the UK are not medical doctors; this may be relevant if you want blood draws done and items on prescription. The only one I can think of who is is Dr Chargarlamudi (sp?). Muscroft (whom many consult on this list) is a nutritionist. Dr Fell is a gastroenterologist. He treats the gut and has nothing to do with DAN! Margaret > > It's Muscroft. Dr Fell is a helpful NHS doctor at the Chelsea and > Westminster hosp. not a DAN!. Guest guest
phoned them the day before you and they said that they were having problems getting the medical doctors started!? I was informed because of this problem it would be a few months before ds would be seen....I asked how many and she agreed about 8 months. Is this normal waiting time anyway? >>They have closed the waiting list before now when it got to abuot 19 months. Waiting lists are normal, there is plenty to be doing while yuo wait for an appointment. Check out beginners guide on www.TreatingAutism.com Once you get past the first appointment, making apps gets easier Mandi in Dorset
