Guest guest
, If the Neurontin is 'wearing off' in 5 hours, a change in the dose may be the answer. I took it for a year, only, most of that time was at 900 mg a day - at that time I had some wierd electrical jolts type pain in my left arms at rest. I stopped Neurontin to see if the pain would come back. It didn't - and still hasn't 5 years later. Some of our members are taking Lyrica. Another pain medication that may help is Elavil(amitriptyline) so ask your doc about these. Sometimes docs may give 2 different pain meds (polypharmacy) to help that relentless pain. ~ Gretchen
Guest guest
my dad has always said veterinarians are the smarted doctors...after all you can't ask a dog where it hurts or if the meds are working..these smart doctors have to figure that out without any input from the patients..pur doctors depend on us to tell them what is wrong and how we feel...Cathleen in Arkansas think about it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
