Guest guest
You'll never get a consensus on the workout/meal timing. That's always been a raging debate. The bottom line is that the best time to workout is whenever you're most likely to do it. The morning has benefits - getting it out of the way, the kick in the metabolism. The evening has benefits for some people, maybe it fits there schedule better or they have more energy then. A lot of people would rather die than get up an hour earlier. :-) They might have more success working out later in the day. Do whatever you feel gives you the best chance of success. The empty stomach thing is another raging debate. If this is your first challenge, follow the book and keep it simple. You have plenty of time to freak out about timing and cortisol and insulin spikes later on. The only exception would be if the empty stomach thing makes you feel horrible. Some people get shaky and weak from low blood sugar. If that's the case, you need to eat beforehand. > A few people have told me that afternoon and evening workouts are > better than morning workouts? Is there any truth to this?
