Guest guest
Hi Sally, I've been meaning to send this post but couldn't until now. Firstly, I'm sorry to hear that you and your daughter are having to go through this. I was thinking about what you said about B6 being excitatory for your daughter. Could it be because of insufficient magnesium? I'm not sure if this can be the cause but I've read that Vit B6 interacts with magnesium and depends on magnesium to help it get inside cells where it can do its work and a low intake of magnsium will compromise the body's ability to use B6 properly. Sorry if this bears no meaning but just wondered as my son too also has seizures but he has had them for 11 yrs. Nothing else has ever helped him as much as the B6 (combined with magnesium) which we just started last October. I hope that you find something that will help your daughter's seizures, if not stop them completely. take care, emily xx > > > > > > > > > > Hi, my daughter started having seizures about two weeks ago. > > > We've > > > > been > > > > > sent home from casualty and seen a paediatric neurologist who > > > gave > > > > her > > > > > indigestion mixture and told to " wait " for an EEG. > > > > > I've stopped giving her Evening Primrose Oil which is supposed > > to > > > > lower > > > > > the seizure threshold.
