Dear friends,

I need your help please. One of a parent from my internet group is in

pain for her child's condition. Her child is 11 years old.She has

self-injurious behaviours such as pulling hair, damaging her ear

drum..really serious behaviours she is presenting..She used so many

medicines and using for years I assume.Mother says she turned from a

hyperchild to a hypo child,no moving, slow motions..She has also eating

problems, 3 days she has great hunger, eats everything then stops for 3

days..something like that.

Mother says she had GF/CF tests ,heavy metal tests in the past. But she

is no on any diets. Her self injurious behaviours started when she was

3 but getting worst now.She looks as if she is in pain and doctors say

'we don't know the reason,we are experimenting drugs'/!!

She had AIT twice and intensive one to one therapy in the past, she

gained many skills but mother says she is in a critical stage ,she

doesn't know what is important now,she is uncontrolable for her

self-injurious behaviour and also aggressive behaviours as well.

What would you say about this, what reasons a child behave like that?My

feeling is she must suffer some kind of illnesses, may be bacterial, may

be fungus .They started drugs because of her behaviour and drugs don't

help,possibly makes things worst..What tests,what supplements would

you recommend? How can she find out the real cause of her meidcal

condition?

Mother doesn't feel that it's a behavioural or communication issue.I

believe this aswell,it must be medical issue.

I would appreciate if you could make a comment please.

Thank you.

All the best

Nevin
