Yes, he pood lunchtime yesterday, sfter I gave him a suppository. I'm

not sure how you know a proper clearout has happened. This morning poo

#4 was smaller in quantity and liquid, still brown.

I'm having a hellish time getting any supplements into him and the

stress really got to me this morning.

He won't accept pomegranate juice.

I have trouble getting Joe to take supplements too. For a long time he

would only drink water and if I tried to add anything to it he would

not drink at all.

Those that do not need to be water soluble I get him to take by putting

them on his favourite food, how mean am I. Bacon is a good one as it

is strong tasting anyway. He has about 5 different supps on his 3

rashers every morning. Most of the rest I put on his scd bread which I

spread with honey. Again it is the honey that motivates him.

Other supps I sprinkle on crisps (not scd legal but giving him a bit

more starch has helped him to poo daily so Im sticking with it).

Oxypowder I melt some plain organic chocolate, mix about 6 caps of

oxypowder into it, along with mag cit, vit c and vit b5, then make

chocolate drops. One bar lasts him 2-3 days. Ideally I wouldnt give him

chocolate but I have to weigh up the sugar against the not taking supps.

After a long time I have now managed to get him to take a small amount

of probiotics in his morning drink of water. The sacc bou is one of the

honey sprinkled supps. It is probably not as effective as swallowing

but better than none at all, I think.

Others like culturelle and candex I have not been brave enough to try

yet, one day I will attempt Mandis sippy cup whilst asleep but I

haven't been brave enough yet, getting Joe to sleep is as important as

getting him to take those supps, for me.

Hope this helps a bit, you will find a way that works for you, keep

trying

love

Thank you, .

I put 3 Oxypowder into 4 squares of G & B organic dark choc - he didn't

like it, but it worked in the end. Oxypowder is horribly gritty and

so hard to disguise. I have put stuff on bacon in the past (enzymes)

so may try this again for probiotics. When fish oils get added in

again I am going to give them with a tinned sardine (one of his all

time favourite foods, bones and all)! He won't take them in fruit

puree or in juice.I am seriously thinking of getting in some sweet

fruit yogurt/soya yogurt as he will take supplements in this -

however he is supposed to be CF and soya-free. He loves Activia

Yogurt which must have a massive amount of sugar in it.

I wondered about putting stuff in dates, but he's never eaten dates!

I thought I was going to crack up this morning with his strenuous

resistance.
