Adam, there's a lot in the archives, but maybe the messages are hard to

search because of a Yahoo glitch.

I purchased stuff from her, and she often asked me to help evaluate new

products until she stopped returning my calls or emails when I told her

that the jasmine sambac she had was bunk. Kill the messenger, I guess.

There was also the linden scandal, well-documented here.

All my best,

Anya

I've never had any problems with her but my interaction with her is limited

as I purchase from a wide variety of sources.

I think several of us have fallen prey to a Linden imposter. How would one

know if the oils we're buying are pure or not?

I know of another Vendor that was selling a faux product in the past that

some people have since forgiven and buy from.

I guess it just depends on how much trust we're willing to give someone

after we've had a bad experience with them.

Good point, and groups like this help spread the word when something in

the industry is " off " .

Did they contact their customers and apologize for the error?

Sonsa, if I found out I was selling bunk products, I would immediately

notify my customers and do a recall. She did not. It was buried and

ignored, I believe. I was criticized and flamed by her and her buddies

for the exposè. As you mention, " it just depends on how much trust

we're willing to give someone after we've had a bad experience with

them. " This may be the case with the other vendor you allude to.

Everybody can make a mistake. Ignoring it and going on with business as

usual is something I won't forget. I want transparency and honesty from

my vendors. Period.

I am just tired of the same old same old and I'm not going to reply to

this thread again, I'm busy and really can't invest any more time in

trying to educate people about deceptive business practices.

All my best,

Personally, I tend to shy away from anyone I've had a bad experience with -

but that's just me.

Thank you for the head's up. I absolutely agree that transparency is the

best way to do business.

From what I saw; the other vendor knew about the faux oil but continued to

advertise it as natural.

This is not someone I would ever do business with again. nor if I was

criticized for the expose.
