Did you File a " Request for Reconsideration after you were denied at the Initial stage? If you didn't file a Request for Reconsideration, then your case still is headed for a Hearing for some reason - most likely for what I've previously mentioned. Or sometimes the SSA " goofs " . But I do not think this is a " goof " . I get the feeling SSA wants you to 'present yourself' in person to the Judge, so your case can be fully evaluated. You should be receiving a letter from the SSA in 5-7 days stating that they want you to come to a hearing.
