Guest guest
Yay Donna!!!! When I need weights, I just buy them. I figure they are a necessity, and not a luxury..hee..hee...Darcy Hi Everyone, as my " reward " for (almost - will finish tomorrow) my mock-STS endurance cycle I picked up a set of 20's at Wal Mart today. They were $15.87 each, so not an entirely bad price - although I did like Play It Again Sports where they sold weights for .50 per pound. I'm happy to have my 20's though and it was about time I 'graduated' to them. I may use them in tomorrow's strength workout! My next reward may be 25's - it is sad that I want to ask DH to get me 25's and 30's for Mother's Day, isn't it? But if he's at it anyway, I would also like a kettlebell! LOL! Take care, Donna __________________________________________________________ Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Mobile. Guest guest
Congratulations on finishing your mock-STS endurance cycle Donna! I think it is great that you bought yourself the 20s and I think it would be fine to ask DH for the heavier weights (or kettleball) for Mother's Day! I asked for fitness stuff for Christmas and DH came through in a big way (weights I wanted and especially my HRM). He liked buying me those things because he knew I'd use them and he likes supporting me in our healthy lifestyle so go for it!! Guest guest
Donna, for as long as you've been exercising you totally NEED the 20's! I'm no , but I do use 20's for single arm rows and once in a blue moon I'll do one set of chest presses or flys with them, but by the time the 2nd set comes around it's back to 15's *L* Pump it!
