Hi ,

I'm happy to hear you've got an appointment. Strikes me as odd that

your attorney is also the City Attorney, but perhaps you live in a

small city.

As for your appointment and regarding " peripheral neuropathy " and

neuromuscular disorders, go to this link

http://www.ssa.gov/disability/professionals/bluebook/AdultListings.htm

then go to # 11 (Neurological) and look at # 11.14, which will refer

you to # 11.04 B (which reads " Significant and persistent

disorganization of motor function in two extremities, resulting in

sustained disturbance of gross and dexterous movements, or gait and

station " )

You may also want to look under category # 1 (Musculoskeletal System)

too. Surf through the other categories if you have additional health

issues that leave to UNABLE TO WORK. Make some notes from all of

these, as they relate to your CMT and how your CMT symptoms, etc.,

leave you now UNABLE TO WORK. (Focus on being UNABLE TO WORK, explain

why - to your attorney, and do not mention the word 'disabled').

Hope this helps.
