,

You bring an amazingly rich, complex, and varied background with you to the

study of natural perfumes. I think it has the potential to be the source of some

very creative and original work in this area. It also sounds to me as if you

have a very discriminating sense of smell that will be a wonderful asset in

creating perfumes.

It's exciting to have you as a member. Your work has been exceptional and is

appreciated. Welcome!

Welcome, , I snipped a bit of your post above, wow, at least YOU have

smelled Boronia, many of us would like to. I went to Washington State's Hoh

Rain Forest on the Pacific Coast over the 4th of July. The odor was all

very much amiss from how it should be. The rain this year, except for

February has been a fraction of the average rainfall there. I took a few of

the familiar trails, including what is called the moss trail, ordinarily

there's moss drapery like theater drapes, hanging 75 feet wide and as long

etc from the top of old growth trees. There was no hanging drapery of

Moss!, I've never seen the absence of moss drapery there, it's all fallen to

the forest floor. This is the Rain forest, average rain fall 153 inches a

year (I may be off a few inches) however, it was very dry, like I've never

seen it be. I made it up the top of the (driveable part that is) Upper Elwa

before the weekend had passed, it was actually much better there, with more

appropriate odors about. The Dam is going to be dismantled and slowly

return the valley back to itself.

Thank you for ALL you shared in your introduction.

You speak my thoughts hon!

Welcome from a nother Ozzie Eco Scent Warrior!

I started making perfumes while living out in the bush, desiging a

permaculture house and farm!

It's my way of bringing the bush back to the poor city folk......

If you ever make it up to the Central Coast, be sure to drop by my

workshop for a chat and sniff!
