Guest guest
What specifically makes you think that? Also, did you guys scroll down and read the comments? It shouldn't surprise me at this point, but I guess its slightly amusing that people are so negative and critical when someone makes a physical transformations through good old fashioned nutrition and hard work. Guest guest
I'm sorry, I should have spent more time responding. I was on my way out this morning when I saw that. No, actually I didn't scroll down and read the comments. The first few pictures just didn't seem right to me, then I went down further and started looking at his head/smile/hair. I don't know, just weird. Don't get me wrong, I think if someone did make that transformation it is AWESOME! Hard work is hard work, and I've put in plenty of it myself. And I know plenty of people who've made drastic transformations with hard work and proper nutrition. That is nothing to be negative or critical about. That doesn't change the fact that the pictures look fishy. Stefanie wrote: What specifically makes you think that? Also, did you guys scroll down and read the comments? Guest guest
Dang! Guest guest
It's not just that they look weird, it's that they look identical. Besides variations in the hair, which can easily be changed, the heads are *exactly* the same, and I mean totally identical, on several of them. Maybe some of the pics are for real, but my opinion is that some of them are fake. ****** Hollingsworth wrote: > > I'm sorry, I should have spent more time responding. Guest guest
LOL, Oh-kaaay, so even if the heads are the same, look at the guy's body. Notice below his belly button there is a little indentation, maybe a scar or something. THAT is on all the bodies. So even *if* the head is photoshopped on (which I don't think they are), SOMEBODY made that transformation. And Kudos to him for doing so. Someone at my forum posted this thread, and I just wanted to chime in. Let me start off by saying unequivocally that every single picture that I have posted on my site is 100% legitimate. I started my page as a personal project to keep me motivated as I lost weight, and I had absolutely no reason to fudge anything. Many of the people here at bb.com watched me slowly go from fat, to (admittedly) way too skinny! My site gained a lot of popularity over the years, and this was most unexpected, but I've always done things the same way--openly and honestly. The criticisms leveled at my pictures are laughable, because I know for a fact they are not altered. Sometimes it's frustrating to read comments like those in this thread, but they are beyond my control. I think it's real a shame that some people have felt the need to alter their transformation pictures. Unfortunately those people have created an atmosphere of distrust, so I can't say I really blame people for being skeptical. Believe me, I've heard it all by now... I've always prided myself in my honesty when it comes to my transformation. I've always admitted my missteps, tried to keep learning and attempted to help others as much as time allows. I have a true passion for training, and every day I look forward to lifting more than anything else. As others have pointed out, I have tons of pictures and videos on my site and on my forum that show me at every point along my transformation. I've also met many people in person over the years, and host an annual " cheat meal " in which anyone is welcome to come and hang out with me and the JSF gang. Please, don't let others tell you what is and is what not possible. The sky is the limit. Keep your thoughts positive, and keep training hard! __________________ My transformation & fitness page: http://www.johnstonefitness.com My fitness forums: http://forums.johnstonefitness.com My home page: http://www.twowiresthin.com Stefanie wrote: LOL, Oh-kaaay, so even if the heads are the same, look at the guy's body. Guest guest
I'm kind of glad there was some controversy. It made me go to the main part of his site and read the blog, which I've added to the other blogs I read. It really helps me to know others go through a lot of the same things I do. And I think the guy looks great!
