Guest guest
beth if you'll be done after completing " one " challenge, you couldn't have been that fat. I think we're more critical of ourselves than others ever could be. How much are you trying to lose? Congrats. > > Hey, Lil-- > I had a similar reaction. OK, I didn't cry all day, but I was totally horrified. I thought I was just overweight, I saw pictures of a FAT person. A SQUARE fat person. It was truly a wake up call. If I think about dumping the program, all I have to do is to look at those horrible pictures. That's a big motivator for me. > I used to wonder how fat people could stand to look at themselves, and I realized that they don't see what we see. I didn't see what my family and friends saw. I didn't realize how my belly was sticking out. How the back fat was always there, not just when I bent. I think that those pictures are the main reason I have been attacking this program! > Buck up. You've taken the first step, and they say that's the hardest. I'm only in the third week (last cardio tomorrow then free day Friday) but pretty soon I will be in the eighth week, and then I will be done with the challenge, and I will look so different! It's all we can do. : ) > > Best Regards, > beth > > > > > Hello! > > Hiya All! I just joined and thought I'd say hello. > > I started my challenge on Monday, Sept. 18th. Guest guest
Ugh...sorry for the misstatement..I'm in this for probably 3 challenges, since I have 50 lbs total to lose. 40 now, since I lost 10 already. I just meant I'll look a lot better in 12 weeks. : ) Next week I'll post my pictures and you can see SpongeLiz SquareBody! And my 4 week photos. Best Regards, beth Hello! > > Hiya All! Guest guest
, Your story is very inspiring! Congratulations on the success you had with your most recent challenge and good luck with the one you are starting next week. May I ask how tall you are? I am also wearing a size 14, and I weigh 190 (UGH!) right now. But I also wore a 14 when I was 175-180! And I'm 5'10 " . Anyway, I must have been at least 40% body fat before I started this lifestyle because I was in a tight 16/18 now I'm in a 14. 210.4 pounds in a 14 might I add! Whoohoo! My coworker told me the other day " you sure don't look like you are near 200 pounds " I said " Body for Life Baby " lol (Like did the Trimspa commercial) I don't know what's all going on but something is working! I would like to be at 18-20% eventually.
Guest guest
Hey Jen, I'm 5'8. When I was 175 I'm in a tight 12. I was 150 through most of my high school days. I wore a 13 juniors and I was always told that I was tall and skinny. However, going by size I wasn't. I never understood it. I have a large frame going by my wrist measurements. As far as body measurements, I'm a 40-32-40. > > , > > Your story is very inspiring! Guest guest
Just wanted to say hi to everyone. I just joined the guild, and am a total neonate...started Mandy's first workbook after reading Essence and Alchemy. Also, I wanted to say hi to Butch Owen. I was on your website and noticed that we are neighbors...I'm in town, WV and you are in Friendsville, right? Anyway, best to everyone, and I look forward to learning and correspondence! Now we can continue our discussions with the group as well. Maggie
