Guest guest Posted February 19, 2007 Report Share Posted February 19, 2007 I've only posted a couple times to give updates on my progress. Last week was a bad week. Not only was it my time of the month, but Valentine's Day and all of the chocolate and candy called out to me all week. I still did all of my workouts and ate fairly clean for breakfast, dinners and some meals in-between, but ate lots of goodies!! The good part is that I didn't put any scale weight on! YAY! The bad part is that I am not where I want to be at week 7. So...I am going to be working really hard this week and next to make up for all my mistakes last week. I am still making recipes out of the EFL book but cooking every night is not as fun as it was in the beginning...lol! Oh, one question for ...I have read your Lean Out or Swell Up article. Will the Swell Up menu just make you *feel* like you are not losing weight or will it actually prevent you from losing weight and gaining muscle? Overall, if you look at the whole day you have laid out, it is a healthy menu. Way healthier than if someone was eating junk all day. Just want to know your thoughts. I do tend to eat more bread than I should but I try hard to substitute fruits now and then. I was thinking about this today because I ate a soy hot dog today that had 17gm of Protein but it had like 580 gm of sodium. It did make me feel full and satisfied though.
