Guest guest
Hi Joana, I have been taking HRT for nearly two years now. I haven't noticed any side effects or changes in my CMT since I started taking them. I take Menest. Pat
Guest guest
Hi Pat, Thanks for your email. It is good to know that all is well regarding CMT. I was not so sure if people with CMT can actually take HRT and once my doctor suggested me and I did not know what to answer. Saying that because I have being feeling so bad with menopause for more than 3 years now, my nights sweats are very bad, many times wake me up during the night, which is very uncomfortable...It feels all the body stick like a glue! Funny because since I came back from Brazil it got much worsen here in London...weird thing this. It is hard to say if it is only hormonal problems or what else? In any case, for a moment I thought of trying the patches type maybe , to see if could help me in this area. I need to find out more about others drug interaction.Thank so much for your information. All the best wishes Pat. Joana in London
Guest guest
Joana, Good luck. The patches are great. Some have to be changed twice per week. I was on one that was once a week.

How long have you being taking it Pat? Did you find your symptms got much better? I would love to hear more please, if it is possible also the name of medicine. I can always ask my Gp before taking it. I would love to thank you so much for this info. Have a Great Day. Joana in London
Guest guest
Joana, I have used the patch, Vivelle, and a tablet, Menest. I found that if I take the tablet my dose is not as much. The tablet also relieved my symptoms quicker than the patch. I've been using a HRT for two years. I had a complete hysterectomy.

Guest guest
Hello: I had a complete hysterectomy as I had endometeris and a slow growing type cancer in the uterine wall, which was 98% estrogen dependent. Luckily, it was all removed with the surgery. I take no HRT as fat " holds " estrogen and my cancer was estrogen dependent. So, I'm growing facial hairs. I have a 5x magnifier mirror so I can see all my facial hair and remove it. It comes in so fast!!! Now, what is causing all these facial hairs? Do you women have this same problem in aging? I'm having to use a depilatory on my face, chin, below chin and upper lip once a week now. Someone said it was hormone related and old age....geesh....
