Guest guest
Hello Everyone, Just pop in to share a bit the way I feel today... just for now. I have not being so well in myself recently. At the moment fighting depression, fatigue and pain...and try to do my best really. That is the why I did not post much this week.So sorry! I had a word with my doctor only by phone and decided to wait another week or two and fight more because I really would not like to start to take anti-depressants again ... My GP told me that I do take far too much supplement etc...need to be careful regarding side effects drugs etc...that is true! She commented about the weather changes, and my mood swings, etc... and the fact that I have been in Brazil with my whole family and friends for quite long time has affected me somehow. Here I am by myself and I do need to re-adapted again , and I have been doing so far! But also been crying out of no reason, sleeping quite a lot, and having not much energy inside me. I did feel this before, many years ago when my mother pass away and things got very difficult. It is comfortable to come here at and being able to share with you all my friends. It make me feel better somehow in myself because I do know I am not alone here. Sometimes life is a bit hard but surely they will be a light at the end of the tunnel. Hopefully I will see privately an orthopesdist in May 22nd and see what is wrong with me regarding my hips and walking difficulties also. If I would have wait to see one orthopedist through the NHS would take more than 6 months...it is really mad, so I will need to pay quite a lot to go private, but this time I just can not wait ! Even like that I am doing my daily exercises, pushing myself as much as I can... Today, once more after the pool I felt very bad with my legs, maybe because of the stress at the moment the legs got much weaker,I just don't know why? Anyway , It is just an moment I hope it will pass in time...! I really believe that slowly I will find a solution or a reason why my hips are so bad right now. That been driving me really unwell and worried quite a lot! Thanks Everyone for your time. Have a Great Day!!!!!!!! Guest guest
Joana, Hang in there!! You are strong enough to handle what comes your way. All of us with CMT are very strong. When we get up get dressed, brush our teeth, etc. with pain and no feeling or weakness, we have to be strong. And, thankfully we have each other. When you feel down, make yourself turn on your computer. We are right here. We can all thank Gretchen for the gift of never having to be alone. Take care Joana. I was told once that if you have the blues to do what is in front of you. Meaning, if there is a stack of laundry to fold, start with the washcloth. Do what is in front of you to do. Making tea is always a favorite of mine. Take care, and I will keep you in my thoughts,
