Guest guest
A friend owns a charming gift shop in San Francisco. She keeps a couple " shop cats " at any time. These are rescue cats that she fosters and puts up for adoption. Recently a pair of her foster cats found permanent homes with customers who fell in love with them. My friend would like to scent her shop with essential oils through a diffuser. However, someone showed her this website, and she's afraid of harming her cats. The website: http://www.thelavendercat.com/3201/index.html The article says, among other things: " ... inhalation of essential oils can also be unsafe for your cat. Oils can affect a cat by absorption and inhalation just like for humans, and precautions should be used when repeatedly diffusing essential oils... " (Quote from paragraph 5 in the article.) Do you agree with the science of this article? And, if so, what safe methods exist for adding fragrance to a room with cats? tia, Donna
