Guest guest
Hello I take 750mg of milk thistle and havent had a cold since. My colds now consist of sneezing for a few days and thats about it. i have even been able to share a room with someone with a cold for 2 weeks and not catch it. I hope your son recovers soon. Can he take olbas oil? it might help to clear his ears so he can hear you properly. i used to love that after effect of a cold as my hyperaccusis was reduced to the level of non painful hearing. HTH Aleixs Hi everyone,Can I ask for any suggestions please. Eddie is recovering from a cold on top of another cold (he went to playgroup twice and caught a bug each time).Last week he was VERY poorly in the night - so he has improved quite a lot. But he's still not right after 2 weeks - looking pale, tearful, less energy, sleeping in afternoon etc. Has intermittent sore heads and earache (sore chest has gone now). He has made one of his ears bleed just under the lobe. Have given colloidal silver for 6 days (10ppm 3xone quarter tsp per day) but worried we have an ear infection and concerned about sore head. Has lost a lot of hearing, can't hear normal speaking voice - having to speak loud.Eddie has bad reactions to usual antibiotics (but OK with flagyl). Have decided to take him to the GP tomorrow (a place we normally wouldn't go!) - but thought they could look in his ears. Would appreciate any ideas. Thanks,Sandy
Guest guest
Hi everyone, We wanted to say thanks for your lovely messages and emails. Eddie is much improved and we managed to avoid using antibiotics. Thanks for all your suggestions too (I didn't know that about milk thistle! Will give it a try.) Fortunately Eddie's hearing gradually returned and though he has a cough he's definitely feeling more energetic. Generally he's doing well - Dr Amy Yasko's protocol is doing good things for him (but consulting with is our other big intervention :-) ) We still have lots to work on - anxiety (best birthday present would be for him to say " Hello " and smile at people), immunity, allergies and general health. But on good days he passes for shy and is really enjoying attending a parent toddler playgroup. It's strange that we can begin to enjoy just a few little " normal " experiences. Where people assume he's OK (like asking where he used to go to playgroup not knowing we never really have gone anywhere) or simply comment on his lovely (wavy red) hair. Because before nobody would look (or at least we never had chance to look at them) or talk because Eddie would be rocking or something. Just before he was poorly, we updated his webpages just a little (they're still really a first draft) but you may like to see. http://www.endofthetunnel.co.uk/eddie/ Best wishes, Sandy > > > > Hi everyone, > > > > Can I ask for any suggestions please.
