Guest guest
My son Philip (age 13) recently had urine amino acid testing done through IWDL. Even though he eats a varied high-protein diet, the testing showed that he was low in a number of essential amino acids. This suggests he has a problem with digestion and absorbtion. The recommendation is to give him customised amino acid supplementation. The dosage levels are very high. We were wondering whether to get blood amino acid testing done as well, to see if the results are confirmed. Has anybody done either urinary or blood amino acid testing and used supplmentation, with positive (or otherwise!) results? We'd be grateful for any advice.
