Guest guest
Hello - I think that by changing my password ,I can get to the site. I wanted to let everyone know that I attended the CMT conference in Hershey and picked up new information that I was not aware of and validated my foot Drs. concerns that physical therapy and orthotics for the Charcot Foot, require the expertise of someone that is familiar with CMT. My own Neurologist Scherer was a speaker, because he is the man for research on peripheral neuropathy. I was not aware of the specialty clinic in stown for CMT and it seems to offer a comprehensive evaluation and program that may require someone to spend a few days in that area.I was unable to stay for no M.D. who spoke on foot and ankle surgery. Lawall, certified orthotist/prosthetist from Hershey area spoke on bracing for CMT Patients and he seemed very knowledgable and sensitive to the needs of the CMT patient. I have actually worked with Lawall in the Philadelphia area as a home care nurse - it is his father that runs that program and I was always satisfied with the attention given to my home care patients.Thank you for listening - I hope I can get to the group discussions now.
