We've recently introduced soluble vitamin C to Tom's regime to see ifthat will get him "going" better than the movicol, oxypowder etc. Hehas three one quarter teaspoons a day and there is no added sugar.

>>>C is often sourced from Corn - is that a problem for him?

We have not managed to introduce vit C to

for the same reasons. He also

used to chew/suck sleaves and labels but this has stopped. I have no reason for this.

Vitamin C - crazy behaviour

cannot take Vit C supps at all, he

becomes completely wild with them, have no idea why, but every time I have

tried to introduce Vit C I get the same reactions. I find often he can

take a food high in certain things like Vit C or Calcium but not the

supplement.

I use Ecover with no problems

Steph I though the ecover washing powder had milk in it? Ive never

bought it because of this. It might just be their washing up liquid

though, I know that does.

Eddie had high oxalates from taking vitamin C. He takes biocare

magnesium ascorbate powder and Right C but in much lower doses and his

joints (which were very weak and clicky) are MUCH stronger. Vit C is

wonderful - but if some children get too much they turn it into

oxalates.

We are using a little more vit E as an antioxidant. (Mandi's Aqua E is

a good source of all the E's)

Best wishes,

Sandy
