Guest guest
He sounds very rude, Nasreen. You have a right to be treated more politely. Do you think that he is treating you like this because you are a woman? Maybe write a letter of complaint? Can you change? Is he your GP? Could you contact the Primary Care Trust and say your doctor is an ill-informed, bullying sexist (more politely than that) and you want a new one? There is no reason GFCF should be constipating and he should know that. He needs to treat your opinions and observations with more respect xx Sally bbrowne123 wrote: > > Is this doctor a nutritionist as well? Guest guest
Hi Nasreen, I don't know whether this will help you convince your doctor, but there's some interesting work been done in the States by someone called H Jyonouchi on the link bewteen the innate immune system, food intolerance and autistic children with GI symptoms. You can find it on PubMed http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/entrez? Db=pubmed & Cmd=ShowDetailView & TermToSearch=15741748 & ordinalpos=1 & itool= EntrezSystem2.PEntrez.Pubmed.Pubmed_ResultsPanel.Pubmed_RVAbstractPlus That looks impossible! So if you go to PubMed and search for 1574178 or Jyonouchi H you will find it and some other useful abstracts in the links to the right. hope that might be useful ATB Patience > > im sorry to write this i am appaled at my doctors. Guest guest
Actually she is women. and she rang me this morning. the whole thing has started because of school. i ask school since it is an 1 hour journey there if they wouldnt mind giving the afternoon supplements. however they got the dr on me since there were not prescribed. plus she has said she is writing to the gp that she does not approve on the diet and will be considering it as a negative part of his treatment for feacel impaction. this morn she wasnt so bad. but one thing she did say. the school is the one complaining and blaming me for not giving ali a nutrtion diet. if i was to keep to the diet then still send alot of food in for ali for the school to give and if ali doesnt eat it then she will say the school has the responsibiltie since i have done my share a work. other words her involvement was highly influnced by the school. though i got to say she hasnt told me to take my other son off the diet yet. but she always been against the diet(hence why many parents who started this diet have now abandoned it). possibly she'll wait till hes 7yrs old,. oh and not just that she also mention ali vomitting and wanted me to keep a track vomiiting next week? she thinks its a reflux? any idea what this is ps sorry if i had wriiten 'he' instead of 'she' (a fellow dyslexic) regard nasreen > > > > > > Bread is WELL-KNOWN even in normal people to stuff people up. > > > [Autism-Biomedical- Europe] cracking down on parents > > whos childern are on gf cf diet > > > > > > > > > im sorry to write this i am appaled at my doctors. Guest guest
Reflux is a good idea. It's got nothing to do with the GFCF diet. It means food and stomach acid coming up your throat. It burns your throat and can make you sick. There is some good stuff called Gaviscon for it. Get her to do some investigations not just " assume " anything. Either sex can be rude and brusque. The paperwork is full of stuff about parents know best but the paid-ones carry on with this I-know-best-and-I-don't-need-to-listen approach. It wears parents down. Post more Nasreen xx Sally saqabisa wrote: > > Actually she is women. and she rang me this morning. the whole thing > has started because of school. i ask school since it is an 1 hour > journey there if they wouldnt mind giving the afternoon supplements. > however they got the dr on me since there were not prescribed. > plus she has said she is writing to the gp that she does not approve > on the diet and will be considering it as a negative part of his > treatment for feacel impaction. > > this morn she wasnt so bad. but one thing she did say. the school is > the one complaining and blaming me for not giving ali a nutrtion diet. > if i was to keep to the diet then still send alot of food in for ali > for the school to give and if ali doesnt eat it then she will say the > school has the responsibiltie since i have done my share a work. other > words her involvement was highly influnced by the school. though i got > to say she hasnt told me to take my other son off the diet yet. but > she always been against the diet(hence why many parents who started > this diet have now abandoned it). possibly she'll wait till hes 7yrs old,. > oh and not just that she also mention ali vomitting and wanted me to > keep a track vomiiting next week? she thinks its a reflux? any idea > what this is > ps sorry if i had wriiten 'he' instead of 'she' (a fellow dyslexic) > regard nasreen > > > > > > > > > > Bread is WELL-KNOWN even in normal people to stuff people up. > > > > [Autism-Biomedical- Europe] cracking down on parents > > > whos childern are on gf cf diet > > > > > > > > > > > > im sorry to write this i am appaled at my doctors.
