Hi and welcome!

re DAN doctors and antivirals, most are nowdays willing to try this

path, although not sure which ones are close to you. for US ones you may

want to enquire on mb12/valtrex list...

My son is a viral kid with autoimmne issues, and don´t know any other Dr who is big fan of antiviral aproach (although I wish did), I guess most DAN´s prefere chelation as the way to recover immunologicaly.

<<<This may be true but it's important to test for both, metals and viruses and then keep an open mind to treating what you find. You (the parent) can drive your own treatment plan.

This is my first post, I´ve been aproved today, Thanks so much to moderator who allowed me and for the extremly useful files I´ve been already reading re viral and constipation issues.Take careBuenos Aires - Argentina>> > > > Yes, he does mention that in the link/paper, although stressing that> these are good for very short-term use only and only to get some> immedate calming effect for kids that are in desparate and urgent need.> > note that NIDS websites don't seem to get updated often, so no way of> telling if they still stick to that nowdays.> > > > >>Last report I read must have been about 6 months ago, still lots of Rx > SSRI's then and hcucking people off the Yakoo gourp if you even asked about > chelation. Welcome to the list .

I'm not a patient of Dr. Goldberg, but I think if you read the viral

file you will already know that when I was researching for it, a good

number of parents gave me in private very negative reports about

him. Making grand promises he couldn't keep. Stuff like that. the

problem with lists is that people who have very bad experiences often

leave the list. This gives us the impression that bad things haven't

happened. This is NOT the case with Dr. Goldberg.

My impression is that any doctor who automatically excludes

treatments that have worked for many kids isn't a good doctor for

most of our kids. Most of our kids need many, many things to help

them get better. And, if this is the case for your son, you will need

either more than one doctor, or a doctor who is open to and

knowledgeable about many things.

As with chelation, there are some of us who are doing viral protocols

on our own. Right now I am doing a low dose protocol using Virastop

and NCD. I will be adding other things like Lauricidin, OLE, and OoO

as we progress. If you were to choose to do something like that,

there are parents who can support you, because they are further down

that road.

My intention is to also try homeopathy. From what I have read,

homeopathy seems to be very good at dealing with viral issues. This

is something that can be done long distance too.

None of this likely tells you anything you didn't already know.

Sorry about that.

Hello

Welcome to the list. I joined a few days ago. Im a 27yr old Asperger. i am considering antiviral treatment.

Anyone know where i can get GSE or OLE in the uk?

Hi,Ethan´s treatment was doubtly lead by Dr. Goldberg, he is not for MeB12 Ethan was given (nor any other vit megadosing).SSRI are prescribed in low doses I understand not to work as antidepressants, I´ve researched about this (excuse me I don´t remember, prob at pubmed) and found that SSRI help when damage post strep infection. I´m not Dr G patient but suscribed to NIDS list, reading some posts my impression is that most parents among patients are scared about ssri´s and most of the ones who tried don´t regret. If any patient want to share his good or bad experience with Dr. G (don´t mind off list) I will apreciate it, I´m considering becoming his patient. My son is a viral kid with autoimmne issues, and don´t know any other Dr who is big fan of antiviral aproach (although I wish did), I guess most DAN´s prefere chelation as the way to recover immunologicaly.
