Retirement - New Beginning

Greetings to all ...

My name is Croskey and I want to take this time to introduce myself. As

Butch said in his retirement announcement I am the new owner of Appalachian

Valley Natural Products and Anatolian Treasures. It is a year ago today the

journey began and it has been and I am sure will continue to be a very

interesting one.

Over the years many people in this industry (and on this news group) have come

to know Butch, the founder of AVNP. As a customer I personally came to know

him and his family, and we have since become very good friends. I too will miss

his writings…hopefully from time to time in between hunting and fishing seasons

we will be able to do something about that.

So now I am at the helm of AVNP and though we have customers in 50 U.S. States

and 92 other countries now, I am certain that we will continue to grow. I have

seen and experienced firsthand that Butch truly cared about his customers and

built his company on sound business principles. It is good and I feel

privileged to be able to build on this solid foundation.

A little about me. For the past fifteen years I have been a user and in growing

degrees a distributor of Essential Oils and it was the oils that brought myself

and Butch together. I currently live in Delaware County Pennsylvania with my

wife Heidi, and two of my five children, ny, age 11 and , age 7 .. and

our dog , age 14 months. was a gift from Butch, and

last October. She is the result of a union between Butch's pure

breed Chocolate Labrador and his mixed Brittney-Beagle. She is a wonderful dog

and she has become an important part of our family. Soon you will be able to

see a photo of all of us on the web site.

As for Essential Oils, our family uses them frequently and we never leave home

without our bag of EOs. The last place I ever want to be is a hotel room without

my oils. EOs make travel so much easier.

Since the mid seventies I have been self employed. I have been in the financial

and insurance business for over thirty years. I have now divested myself of

much of the financial business so I can devote more time to AVNP but I still

manage the insurance brokerage firm.

Well you all now know more about me now than most people do. I will do my best

to contribute to this list and please feel free to contact me if you think I can

be of help.
