Guest guest
Hi , We started doing them at night with EMLA cream and I think this is essential if you are as nervous as me but I think it is more for us than for them…. It wasn’t long before we realised Tom was reacting to the EMLA cream so we had to stop it and then the injections started to wake him up. He was then afraid to go to sleep at night in case we injected him. We now inject him in broad daylight and he doesn’t so much as flinch. As I have said here before it’s much harder to wash his face/ blow his nose/ cut his hair, etc etc. Good luck! They did wonders for Tom. I would appreciate some tips. Does anyone do it at night without the emla cream or should I get some? Feeling really anxious about it so any advice welcome. Guest guest
Thanks to everyone who gave me advice on giving MB12 jabs. I did my first one successfully today. I bought some EMLA cream and left it on for an hour and gave my son the choice of awake or asleep. He chose awake and apart from giggling it all went smoothly. Lets hope we get the WOW... Dr Neubrander's website it a must for boosting confidence. Lara's advice about seeing it an " saving his life " was also very motivating. Next question - what do I do with the empty syringes. There is a lot of talk about using a sealed pot but then what do you do when it is full? Many thanks
Guest guest
Well done , you said you felt there was more you could do and I hope this is a massive step forward. I will look at the web site. Guest guest
Can anyone give me an idea how long it took to show a differnce if any to MB12 injections. We have been going for about 4 weeks and so far I can show anything for it - maybe a bit off but not sure this is due to the MB12. I hate sticking needles in him so would really appreciate anyone's experiences.

That can be a sign that its not getting in the fat (hard to miss on my son - its genetic Lol but not so easy on skinny kids) Mandi x
Guest guest
Dr Neubrander recommends sticking to them for 5 weeks, if you don't see anything at the end of 5 weeks he is not a responder. you may want to try the drops instead, cenaverde has them. Guest guest
We definitely saw improvements much earlier than that . Guest guest
, just want to add that Dr N strongly recommends to do your homeworks these 5 weeks. That means to make your own chart or better use the one you can download from his site (it´s very comprehensive) and also directions on how to fill it up and at last read it and asses it. In our case it cleared up that a kid is more likely a responder if we note even very subtle changes or improvements in more different fields than just expecting huge improvements in any single area. I´ve seen some videos from DrN site and some parents tell that they have to wait several months to start to see interesting changes and the improvements showed up smoothly, not much wow. Regarding the needle issue, give yourself one shot and you´ll see it doesn´t hurt at all, make sure you warmed it up, I put it in my armpit for 1 minute. Guest guest
Anybody who is using MB12 nasal spray, can you let me know how you have got on with it, how long it took to show results, and where you get it from? Thanks Zoe > > > > Can anyone give me an idea how long it took to show a differnce if any > > to MB12 injections. Guest guest
Hi We have been doing it for 2 years now and I can't say we ever saw any wows although we did toilet train him just before 4 and I thought maybe that had something to do with B12. We have said to dr should we stop but he said it works with everything else and because we are seeing improvements then we carry on. My husband gives the jabs every other night and he hates it plus it costs a fortune in Emla cream! Guest guest
Hi Zoe, We have been using it very very carefully over the last 3 months. We got our via coastal compounding in the USA, Not really sure we have been giving my daughter enough, we started with a tiny spray in one nostril every other day, and have just increased it this month to one spray in each nostril daily... but the jury is still out. But I will keep you posted. She is not an obvious responder to any supplements, sorry I couldn't be more helpful.
