The boyfriend song is the Killers. They're great for HIIT too.

Re: Favorite workout tunes?

here's my favorite workout mix. GREAT for hard cardio!!

Alien Ant Farm-Smooth Criminal

The Neverending Story Theme Techno Remix

The Vapors-Turning Japanese

Run Lola Run-Believe

Outkast-Hey Ya!

(don't know the artist name)-Somebody Told Me (you had a boyfriend)

(again, don't know the artist)-Wild Dances (this is an amazing

song...it won some international contest a few years ago)

Aerosmith-Jaded

Weird Al Yankovic-White and Nerdy

there's some more random techno (seasame street theme!!) mixes and

some " pump it " type junk...

Hey Ya and Wild Dances are my power songs...so i sprinkle them

through out the playlist...no doubt when i start to punk out, my song

will come on and it'll get me through those three minutes!

Re: Favorite workout tunes?

Generals and Majors - XTC

Vertigo - U2

Blue Monday - New Order

Volcano Girls - Veruca Salt

She's A Woman - The Beatles

In The Springtime of His Voodoo - Tori Amos (I laugh every time she

sings " Standing on the corner in Winslow, Arizona, and I'm quite sure

I'm in the wrong song... "

Finish What Ya Started - Van Halen

I Hope You're Happy Now - Elvis Costello

When Heroes Go Down - Suzanne Vega

Ship of Fools - n Cope

Hand in Glove - The s

Get The Message - Electronic

Empty Pages - Traffic

As - Stevie Wonder

Alone at Midnight - The ereens (good for cooldown)

Message to My Girl - Split Enz

sometimes, when i'm on the elliptical, i mouth the words soundlessly.

it keeps me breathing, which i sometimes forget to do, believe it or

not. and yes, i am probably known as the freak in the gym. oh well.

I do sing soundlessly, it really helps me with cardio. Yes, I am stared at. I

also have to warn anyone who gets on the recumbent bikes in front of my

treadmill as I have been known to sputter and spit projectiley. TMI, I'm sure.

Best Regards,

beth

Don't feel bad Sher - you are not the only one looked upon that way, and yes

Melinda, I too feel that I " m about to burst into song any minute. I do the same

thing Sher does, mouth the words so I remember to breath LOL It also keeps me

focused and working out to the beat of the music. I cannot watch tv and try to

keep a good pace going, just does not work! I can do it at home, probably

because I'm not worrying about what anyone else is thinking about me, but not at

the gym!! LOL
