I finished my first challenge a couple weeks ago, took a week vacation and another week off, and now I am ready to start another 12 weeks. Today is my first day again. I spent part of yesterday re-evaluating my meals and what I tend to eat. Here is a sample of what a day of mine may look like (dinners will vary each day) Suggestions are welcome.... Calories 1,500 Protein (g) 147 (25) Carbs (g) 147 (25) Fat (g) 33 (6) Fiber (g) 25-30 a day Sugars (g) Sodium (mg) < 2,300 a day Eggs/Fruit 210 20.8 20.9 5.1 3.3 15.1 286 Frozen Entrée 330 30 37 10 10 4 600 Special K/Milk 221.5 20.67 29.8 6.25 5 15 330 Shake/Fruit 182 17.4 23.1 3.2 5.3 14.3 281 Chicken/Potato/Veggies 304 33 24 9 3.8 9.6 300 Protein Pancakes 231 24.3 23.85 3.675 4 2.6 465 1478.5 146.17 158.65 37.225 31.4 60.6 2262 Other proteins I tend to eat are Veggie Burgers, Light String Cheese, Protein Bars and of course, things like Fish and Beef for dinner. I'm not sure how to read all the nubers behind your meals, but does the Special K and milk give you enough protein for that meal? And 1500 calories looks pretty low. The Special K with milk has 20.67 pro and 29.8 carbs. I thought that would be enough. More than some of the *snacks* in the EFL book. I love the Cheesecake and it is only 16 pro, I think.
