Guest guest
Since I have so many questions, I thought I should introduce myself. I’m Lori, 45 y.o., mom of 2 ,ages 11 and 12, happily married for 20 years. I have never really had a weight problem except for child bearing years. I have tried every diet in the book, looking to lose those nasty 20 pounds that I still carry around today. Seems like once I hit 40, my metabolism has left the building…. I am 5’5” and currently weight 150 pounds. So, 1 month ago, I hired a personal trainer and train with her 2 times a week for an hour each time. We are using hand held weights, stability ball, resistance bands and of course boxing gloves :-) Besides those 2 days, I am trying to get at least (1) 4.5 mile walk in on the weekends and then a circuit training video on the other weekend day. I know I should get another walk or 2 in during the week but my sessions with my trainer require me to rest the body the day after…. I am hoping to become stronger as time goes on. Could you look at what I had for breakfast this morning and let me know if I need to adjust it?? ½ large grapefruit ½ cup fat free cottage cheese sprinkled with splenda and cinnamon 8 pecan halves I am trying to come up with some breakfasts that I like that I can use during the week so I don’t waste a lot of time in the morning trying to figure out what I should eat. Thanks, ~Lori " The world is full of willing people, some who are willing to work, and others who are willing to let them " - Frost .. <http://geo.yahoo.com/serv?s=97359714/grpId=6293822/grpspId=1705655488/msgId =214304/stime=1177786205/nc1=1/nc2=2/nc3=3>
