Please know that oncologists are among the most compassionate people in the world. Just talk to that Dr. and explain your concern. Maybe ask the Dr. to consult with your Neurologist? Unfortunately, chemo drugs are nasty - not just to the cancer cells. And oncologists know a lot about possible side effects. However, (Ok I know this is an extreme example... but you will get my point I hope) if I was in the desert and extremely thirsty I would drink the water even if I knew there was lead in it. Gotta do the best you can, but only put out one fire at a time. My thoughts are with you. Doing " the best you can do " is sometimes the best you can do.
