Guest guest
Hi , You are oh so funny. Maybe I'm having a midlife crisis or something?? I think I could very well be over my bingefest. I can't wait to get my hands on PN to try refocusing my energy. I forced myself to do upper body weights on Tues, which was tough because my heart wasnt in it (I was also noticeably weaker). I did legs yesterday and it was a lot better. This morning I woke up and felt great....I did a HIIT workout in the park with some upper body exercises in between. I even did some killer intervals at the end (with burpees) that were brutal (tabata principal stuff, if you know what I mean?). I felt amazing and pretty much whistled and skipped my way to work. I have eaten completely healthy foods since Tuesday. The only 'cheat' I had were a few sushi rolls last night made with sticky white rice. Otherwise, totally on track. Right now if my eating was any more clean, I would squeak! lol I don't know what happened to my head, really. I think I was very tired and overtrained/overworked. I'm listening to my body more and not pushing it so hard right now. No more 'making up' workouts!! I still plan on making a dr. apptmt to check out my thyroid, it certainly can't hurt. Just not sure when I'm going to squeeze it in right now with work, mini vacations, and all other responsibilities. Thanks for your words of encouragement!! > O--soon-to-be-40-and-freakin'-fabulous, > > You've given me motivation when I was freaking towards the end of my > challenge, of course I'm bummed to hear that my buddy's motivation > has given way to self doubt. Guest guest
Hi It sounds like the 2 of us are in the same exhausted boat. after one day of rest I am feeling better. The bad thing is when you're so used to being on the go it's hard to slow down. Only one day resting and I am wanting to go out and play. I NEED TO REST! > > Hi , > You are oh so funny.
