Guest guest
HI , That's my name too and I just started today too......I've fallen into a trap of eating haphazardly and munching all day at work (I work 3 in a row, 13 hour shifts during the weekends in an ICU) - and yesterday, we had a party for a co worker and I went on a sugar binder....and it has to stop...I'm too old, 45, to be falling off the wagon like that...I feel hungover the next day! So, rather than muck around, I'm buckling down like you and feel better already.....Workouts are not a problem...taught 2 hours of aquasize to seniors this am (I don't go in the water, so I get a good warm up workout)...then 1 hour of power hot yoga at 4 and following with teaching Turbo kick tonight.... Glad you're hear to check in too! ************************************** AOL now offers free email to everyone. Find out more about what's free from AOL at http://www.aol.com. Guest guest
Way to go, !! I hear that BFL spirit and enthusiasm and 'can do' attitude coming out loud & clear. Congrats on day 1 and for having your plan in place. YOU can do this! Keep making it your best. ps- I started a challenge today, too, so it will be cool to be able to check in here with someone who is at the same stage. Annie > > Well, I did it! Guest guest
Cool! Thanks Annie! It will be great to be on this path with someone else at the same stage!!! And congrats to you, too, for your 1st day!!! And tanks so much for the support! I really appreciate it! > > > > Well, I did it! Guest guest
With a sugar hangover, I started again yesterday and feel better today already.....only had a spoonful of cottage cheese and bite of apple before teaching 2 hours of senior aquasize, Then homemade yogurt with a scoop of biochem's whey, with fruit....before yoga class, an apple with eas 100 calorie shake, then asparagus with turkey after teaching Turbo, and repeated that meal 2.5 hours later - still starved... Cheats - I ultra light beer with hubby and 4 ginger snaps....and a 50 cal hot cocoa.....so its a start...... Doing weight training today and teaching hot yoga tonight...at 45, it is SO hard to fight this middle age spread...... Love to all, ************************************** AOL now offers free email to everyone. Find out more about what's free from AOL at http://www.aol.com. Guest guest
HI! Go to amazon.com and look up the yogurt makers, think its Salton....just use fat free dannon or stoneyfield or fage for starter...the trick is to start warming the milk slowly until it just about bubbles, then let it set until cool, add it to the maker with the starter yogurt and in 4 hours its done! Did weights today and teaching hot tonight....keeping the calories as low as I can....for now! Thanx for the support - we'll do it together - Batman by Memorial Day! ************************************** AOL now offers free email to everyone. Guest guest
Wow! You are one busy woman!!! I think I had that sugar hangover yesterday, too! I had a headache from about 3pm on through the night. I'm hoping that today will be head pain free! Great job getting started! I just got back from the gym today for my cardio (it's raining where I live and for my 2nd day back, I find I'm a bit of a weather wimp!) an had my morning shake! Feeling pretty good so far. I'm going to a dance class this afternoon - which I adore!!! Sounds like you're on the right track! I bet other women could give you better feedback on your food than me (if you want it!). You make your own yogurt? I'm just trying to get started on that but need to find some good starter. At any rate, great job! > > With a sugar hangover, I started again yesterday and feel better today > already.....only had a spoonful of cottage cheese and bite of apple before > teaching 2 hours of senior aquasize, Then homemade yogurt with a scoop of biochem's > whey, with fruit....before yoga class, an apple with eas 100 calorie shake, > then asparagus with turkey after teaching Turbo, and repeated that meal 2.5 > hours later - still starved... > > Cheats - I ultra light beer with hubby and 4 ginger snaps....and a 50 cal > hot cocoa.....so its a start...... > > Doing weight training today and teaching hot yoga tonight...at 45, it is SO > hard to fight this middle age spread...... > > Love to all, > > > > > > ************************************** AOL now offers free email to everyone. > Find out more about what's free from AOL at http://www.aol.com. > > >
