Guest guest
This doesn't surprise me at all when I think about this. When I first read that it wasn't a challenge for you I was surprised but then when you put it into perspective with what you teach and as often as you do, and that you are a self-professed cardio freak (and I am not but have made it my primary goal this year to improve that) this all made perfect sense and I no longer felt so intimidated and lowly! :-) Not a brag at all about Ab Ripper 200, when you said you taught Amp'd Abs with all of Ab Ripper 200 (plus more) I knew this part for sure was a cake walk for you (plus all the kickboxing you do, you must have abs of steel). You're my inspiration for taking it on though and challenging my body to do it (no matter how much it hurts, I swear I feel like a competitor on Biggest Loser as I try to do this, pushing with all my might to get through as much of it as possible). Now you're my inspiration for raising my cardio endurance level so much that P90 3-4 is no longer challenging for me too! :-) Thanks for sharing your experiences and take on this , it was VERY interesting. When you get a chance, could you please compare P90 3-4 (both videos) with the Slim in 6 stuff? Are they even comparable? Thanks! P90 Sweat 3-4 After doing Ab Ripper 100 and Ab Ripper 200 I was thinking this would be a challenging workout, but it wasn't, at least for me. I think it was easy for me because I'm used to teaching 4 turbos per Turbo Kick class, which has similar moves. I'm sure I burned some calories and it was a nice warmup, but I don't feel worked out enough for this evening. Ab Ripper 200 is at the end of the tape, so that was good, although, NOT TO BRAG HERE, when I teach Amp'd Abs at the gym I include all of Ab Ripper 200 plus 10 minutes more of other material to boot. I'm no by any means, but I'm happy that my fitness level is going up :)Off to do an upper beginner / lower intermediate kb workout to do some more cardio! Guest guest
Well I wouldn't say it's easy per se, but I guess I thought it would be harder based on the difficulty of Ab Ripper 200 which is indeed hard but I can get through it okay. I will try and compare the two series when I'm not thumbing it on the phone Hugs! And I'm uber impressed you're doing P90!! It's a huge jump from !! Guest guest
morning all,i found this workout at the same thrift store that i got the rest of the orginal P90 tapes from. in fact they had a ton more unopened. i love the simplicity of these workouts. go at your own pace pick up your comfortable weights(or bands) and just work it in under an hour. very similar to their other circuit fashion workouts, sweat 3-4 runs through 2-3 rounds of 3 exercises per round. some included cross country ski runs, high knees, football running drills jacks and kickboxing moves. as with the other cardio he starts with light stretching and power yoga series. IMO it would have been better to start with power yoga do some light stretching and maybe just a tad more power yoga. ab ripper 200 is also on this tape. crunches at all angles for roughly 20 reps per exercise until you reach 200 reps. the workout was great b/c you set your own pace but my quads were a little fatigued from yesterday so my legs gave out before anything. esp. on some of the core moves like in-out crunches. so i went at a moderate pace with tony and gang and worked up a little sweat but didn't throw my heart rate up there like other workouts but this def. has a place in my rotations. the bootcamp/kickbox moves would be great to work in with my strendurance workouts. will see how my next round goes. btw last night i did some stretching on my own. i have a pull up bar that isn't always up so i grabbed that as a prop for some chest/shoulder opening and a guide for some back rolls to loosen up and did all back body stretching then did front of the body and worked in sides and hips in between it all. some excuses i have for not doing an evening workout is that dh has the tv in the living room and the bedroom's dvd player spits out most of my dvds(btw don't buy samsung just sucks) so instead of doing nothing or going with a workout that the dvd will play but i don't feel like doing i just try to work in some stuff on my own. give it at least 10-15 min. but a lot of time i work up to 30+ min. kassia ldy_solana's domainScouting for All Too many people spend money they haven't earned to buy things they don’t want to impress people they don’t like.-Will Like movies? Guest guest
Hey Donna, Cardio and Sweat are the same video. It is called "Sweat! Cardio 3-4." Just so you know. The other video is Sculpt Circuit 3-4. I just call it Sculpt (like I call the cardio video "cardio"). I've never seen P90 videos in a thrift shop but if I do I'll definitely get it for you.
