Guest guest Posted November 23, 2006 Report Share Posted November 23, 2006 Being fairly new to weight training, and somewhat intimidated by various gym equipment, and not familiar with a wide range of exercises etc, I generally find it really helpful to read other peoples workouts, just to gain new ideas etc. So, I thought I would post my new workouts for anyone that might find it useful in some way. Even now I've forgotten a few of the exercises, but she's given me a few extra to ensure that I mix the program up. If anyone else wouldn't mind posting theirs, I'd love to see it for future reference and planning. All the best Dea xx Upper body exercises *Chest* Barbell bench presses Pec Fly Machine Trainer said if I wanted to I could max out on push ups after the sets. I was like, " heh.. that will be a maximum of one! " *Shoulders* Standing Barbell Press/ Upright Rows Straight Arm front raises Rear Delt fly *Back* Supported Row Fit ball back extension Close grip lat pull down *Triceps* Tricep Pushdown Tricep kickbacks Bench Dips Max out on push ups *Biceps* Barbell curls Hammer curls Cable curls Lower body exercises *Hamstrings* Dumbbell Lunges Straight Leg dead lifts Lying & Leg Curl *Quads* Hack squat Flat Leg Press/Double and single leg Fit ball squats with dumbbells (hold last) *Calves* Calf Machine Run up and down stairs (out the back of the gym) *Abs* Tuck Crunches Reverse crunches Hip Raises Crossover crunches Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
