Guest guest
Hi I've got a question for y'all about after cardio. Do you always feel really tired, sluggish, and nauseated? I haven't been doing cardio for at least 2 months because of a road trip we took. I have been working out consistently though. This morning I did 20 minutes of cardio and tried to follow by the book but I think I went a little too far and by minute 7 I was feeling nauseated. So I went on at about level 7 till minute 18, went all out for a minute, and then finished at 20 minutes. Afterwards I flopped on my bed and felt nauseated for about 2 minutes, then I sat there a while longer (maybe 5) because every time I got up I felt dizzy and sick and after that I went downstairs to shower. When I got there I felt like lying down on the floor, I just felt icky. 10 minutes later I felt fine, but does every session of cardio hold not only the very intense effort of finishing it, but also the prospect of having to deal with less than pleasant after effects? I know that nausea is a sign that you've worked hard, but is it too hard or should it be there every time? Bonnie
