Guest guest
--- Hi eveyone, ... Can anyone recommend some suppliers of good quality materials ( especially absolutes) in the UK? I think I remember this coming up before, but I can't seem to find anything in the archives about it. Thanks, Felicia Hi Felicia You could try Quinessence as they are organic suppliers and their oils are lovely. Also Alec Lawless has just joined the Guild . Check out his site..... All good wishes, Janita http://www.janitahaan.com

All of these have some organics as well.

Aromantic is good for floral absolutes and interesting things like natural fruit extracts, again prices are good and quality very high. I've just treated myself to Alec's book and perfume sampler set on his website (www.essentially-me.co.uk) - that would make a lovely gift. And his gardenia absolute definitely smells like the real deal - not quite like fresh gardenia from the flower, but is like rose otto to fresh rose: a bit deeper and more concentrated. (He hasn't paid me to say any of this!) Abbie
