Forgot to mention that I was talking with a friend and I said I needed

something to brighten a composition. She said, " So what kind of top

note do you think? " I told her that the brightening component could

well be a base note. I think of sandalwood as silver and any brew with

sandalwood is lighter because of it (mine are anyway).

Hi Adam.....

I see sandalwood as a gold....the older it gets, the higher the karat...

I've never associated any essence with silver....and nothing with

platinum, either.....

It's funny....I'm a fan of silver....before the stroke, I useda make

stuff outta silver, fine, sterling and Argentium....

Argentium is Tolkien's Mithra....

But I've never connected an EO/absolute with silver....

Just an observation....
