Guest guest
How many calories a day are you eating? How many hours a night are you sleeping. When I feel like that I am normally not getting enough sleep and/or eating enough. You have to fuel your body for the work you are demanding of it. Also, when you start working out, your body needs more rest (sleep) than when you are not working out. > > I completed 8 weeks of BFL years ago. I can't remember being > exhausted all of the time. Guest guest
Hey! What's wrong with going to bed at 8:30? I do it all the time! Seriously, I struggle with listening to my body - I want to do what I want to do when I want to do it for as long as I want to do it and sometimes my body just won't keep up. I am trying to learn to listen to my body and sometimes I do go to bed at 8:30! Usually, it works! >>> familyritter@... 5/16/2007 6:27 AM >>> I completed 8 weeks of BFL years ago. Guest guest
Hi Dj, I would echo what others are saying here. There's nothing wrong with at 8:30 bedtime!! Another thing to consider is that if your second bout with BFL is a major lifestyle change from what you had been eating and doing, it probably IS a shock to your system...meaning if you have been eating poorly and not exercising. I suggest you just evaluate your consistency with the program, make sure you are getting your calories, and rest as your body needs it. You'll adjust!!! > > I completed 8 weeks of BFL years ago. Guest guest
I've been doing BFL and mixing it up with other weight lifting programs for 2 1/2 years and I still am so exhausted on a heavy leg day that I have to take a nap! I am 40 so I like to blame all things on age sounds good. But really it just depends how hard I work I need a good 9 - 10 hours of sleep. My husband only needs like 7 and always gives me a hard time about it. It used to bother me now I tell him not to let the door hit him in the ass when he leaves <grin>.
