Guest guest
While reading the article: Natural Perfumery: A Fragrant Evolution for Aromatherapy by Anya, I just got to the part that states " alcohol allows many ingredients to take on a much more ethereal, diffusive nature " ....This passage intrigues me greatly as I was fully planning on only doing oil based perfumes. so to those who have used both types of bases I ask what IS the difference? I was going to use oil as I assumed the alcohol evaporating would make the perfume less long lasting as an oil base. Also what are the ingredients that take on such a magical sounding nature? ) Thank you, Becky
