Hi ,

We all did well on enzymes. Tim and I didn't expect to be taking them

too! - but we all take them now and it'll be 2 years in July/August.

We're glad we tested them out on ourselves :-) We use the Houston

enzymes and get them from www.mandimart.com.

Houston appear to be by far the most preferred for people on teh spectrum.

We give vits and mins together with each of 3 meals per day (never

late in the day)

Hi ,

There is a file in the files section called Supplements that can give

you some more information on scheduling supps (what to give when,

what not to give with what, etc) and problems to look out for.

Hi Anita -

That file has been open on my desktop and referred to at least once

daily for a month! (you wrote it, didn't you?? - thanks!)

When I saw the comment about vitamins being excitatory (and having a

son who is prone to not being well-rested enough, I just wanted to

make sure I wasn't doing something silly by dosing vitamins 3-4 hours

before bedtime.

There is SO much info in the archives on this group and the

autism-mercury one - it is so helpful to have documents like the

supplement one to refer to - and at the same time there is so much

additional info (including people's first hand accounts) in the

archives it feels like the research is never done.

This is quite a daunting undertaking at times. :-)

Hi Mandi -

Ok between your comments and Sandy's I think we will give the enzymes

a try to see what we think! Another order from mandimart is in order!

Speaking of which - I contacted Culturelle a while ago to see if there

were any UK stockists and I was told NO! I ordered my first batches

from Kirkman and had them sent. Why don't they give your info as a UK

stockist?

Nutricentre do Culturelle also but maybe they gets theirs through Kirkman also?

Hi , I did write it and I really don't like to sound like I'm

tooting my own horn by recommending it, but you might be surprised by

the number of people who never access files, some poeple who don't

even know files exist. I'm very happy it's been helpful to you :-)

That is a great sign that you can still comment on this whole journey

in such an understated manner :-) Excruciatingly daunting is likely

more accurate, but we're on this journey with some of the best poeple

I've ever met in my life and that makes the difference.
