I'm copying the reply from Helen at Earth Angel Oils:

Dear Sonsa Rae,

These Mysterium blends are 100% pure essential oils, with nothing added.

They have a lot of rare and precious Indian oils, and also wonderful Linden

Blossom often acted as the river -- our Linden Blossom is an absolute, but

is very light and delicate, also rare and precious. These blends were

spirit guided and not blended based on cost. I hope that you enjoy your

Into the Silence! Love, and thank you for inquiring.

Now that I actually have Linden Blossom Absolute, I'm even more confused.

It's as thick as tar. Helen's " perfume " (or whatever you want to call it) is

not thick at all. I guess it could be nothing but essential oils but it

doesn't feel " oily " either. My original question to her was what she used to

blend her scents with. This is her reply.

A lot of the indian oils are mixed blends/ attars and often synthetics are added

to it...its kind of hard to know what is in it, unless you do a proper GC

analysis. I have used some Lindenblossom for years, that was sold to me by my

first aromatherapy teacher, as pure natural, only to find out later that it was

pure synthetic. The consistency was very light, slightly oily and pale...it gave

every blend a long lasting consistency...when I ordered the " real "

Lindenblossom, I was really disappointed as you were Sonsa...so who knows what

is in it...we can only take the word of someone, or go and do a lab test and

find out....

Usually my nose tells me....if something lasts really long...there are

synthetics in it...and I feel it in my head immediately...

I feel it in my throat...I just know...trust your intuition.....

Sonsa,

I think the big clue here is that she didn't use the term " neat " so I would

think she is using something and just not going to admit to it since she doesn't

have too.

I was wondering about that! I have never ordered or used FO's for anything,

ever, so I have no idea what they're like. The consistency of this is so

unlike anything I have ever seen or made myself - I haven't known what to

think. This is somewhat pale, although not entirely, and very light with a

hint of oiliness but barely. The thing is, however, the " punch " of the scent

and how long lasting it is. I've worked with EO's since the late '70's and I

know how fleeting they can be. I've been trying to find out if maybe she

possibly used something as a fixative to give it the strength and longevity

it has and what I've read involves using glycerin, which might be a

possibility considering the texture. I could imagine there being a bit of

glycerin in this, possibly, based on how it feels to the touch.

What you said about the synthetic could definitely be true but I don't know

what those are like so I have nothing to compare this to. It's definitely

possible.

I don't particularly care for this scent as a personal perfume but it is

certainly different. I can't quite put my finger on what it is. Maybe the

Lindenblossom?
