Thanks for the update . Our gp refused the second x-ray point blank and chose instead to refer him ot a (non-gastro) paediatrician - ho hum.

16 sachets - wow - we only ever went up to 8 and our gastro at the time was suprised we had to go that far! and he was severly impacted like Norman - maybe it was never enough - then like you we were given an indefinite repeat prescription for 2 sachets of Movicol per day as maintenance - have been on it 2 years now.

Good luck with treating the impaction andhope you get it all cleared out.
